Welcome to another edition of
OFF-TRACK with A-TRAIN
where I report on the weird and the wacky
in the world of wrestling
in this episode:
WWE Is Promoting
An Usos vs Seth & Dean Match
That They Probably Have No Idea
Of Actually Making Happen
It all started with a WWE.com poll.
Then the Usos (well, one of them at least, whichev🐟er one was in control of the Twitter account that day) Tweeted a response.
Silly Uso. You can't have those titles.🍬 Those titles a🔥re on RAW and you are on SmackDown. You can't have both.
S🌠eth Rollins, will y꧒ou kindly talk some sense into whichever Uso Tweeted that?
N💜o, Seth, that is the opposite of talking sense into him.
Now, this appears to be where the ဣspontaneꦡity of this little beef ends and the corporately produced publicity stunt begins.
Because ov♍er the weekend, the WWE's official Twitter aಞccount posted these videos of Seth Rollins and The Usos talking trash to each other from separate live events.
I mean, this is cool and all, but if you're not building to a match with the titles on the line at the next dual-branded PPV--Survivor Series on November 20, in this case--then it's all meaningless. And because it's the WWE, and because that would be AWESOME--especially because you could build drama over whether Roman would be in the corner of his Shield brothers or his actual cousins--they're 🅰definitely no🎉t doing that.
So, when you produce a video highlighting this made-up 🐷beef, hosted by Cathy Kelley and post it on your official corporate YouTube, it's just a lame publicity stunt.
At least one person seems to realize that. Dean﷽ Ambr🌃ose, do you have anything to say about any of this?
Yeah, Dean hasn't partici𒁏pated in any of this charade. Because he knows.
He knows.
