Report: Billy Corgan To Take Ownership Of NWA On October 1st

It was reported several months ago that Billy Corgan, the former Presidentꦯ of TNA, would be buying the National Wrestling Alliance. Now, according to a report from , we now know the date that ownership will officially transfer: October 1st.

There have been several member promotions who have had licenses to use the NWA initia♐ls and branding, but that will end with Bruce Tharpe's ownership.  Starting 10/1, the💝 NWA's identity will be whatever Corgan and partner Dave Lagana decide it is.

To sta🦄rt with, the NWA On Demand streaming service will be shutting down.  Corgan is purchasing Tharpe's interest in the Paul Boesch Houston territory library.  The controlling ownership of the library is currently under the control of the Boesch family but Corgan will be abl🔜e to take control of the library starting October 1.

As one of the first actions under of the Corgan regime, NWA champion Tim Storm showed up at Sat⛄urday night's Championship Wrestling Hollywood taping in California, where Nick Aldis (TNA's Magnus) confronted him.  This is be the first time the NWA titleholder has shown up in CWH since the Tharpe regime began.
