UFC Veteran Phillipe Nover Retires

Phillipe Nover,♐ a finalist on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 8 and multi-fight UFC veteran has announced his retirement from professional MMA.

Nover, who retires with a rec🔯ord of 11-8-1, made the announcement via Instagram:

📖Nover has been a professional MMA fighter for over 13 years, fighting such top names as Ron Stallings, Efrain Escudero, Kyle Bradle🀅y, Robert Emerson, Marcin Held, Tony Martin, Yui Chul Nam, Renan Barao and Rick Glenn.

On the show, Nover was referred to as "the new Anderson Silva," but failed to live up to the hype o𒅌f the moniker.

Nover last competed at UFC 208 in his home state of New York, where he suffered a ♏unanimous decision loss to the aforementioned Rick Glenn.
