Retired boxing great Floyd Ma👍yweather has been hinting at makin♓g his professional MMA debut for quite some time now.
Tyron Woodley is the UFC Welterweight Champion and he is willi𒈔ng tꦓo help Mayweather train for a potential MMA fight.
“I saw him at the Jordan party during (NBA) All-Star weekend,” Woodley said on . “We started chatting about training MMA and we decided let’s connect, let’s hook up in Vegas and do some training and get him ready for MMA.”
UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor seems like an obvious opponent for Mayweather’s MMA debut, as the two fought eaꦏch🌸 other in the boxing ring this past August.
Woodley would even go as 💟far as saying that Mayweather’s striking ability would be enough to carry him in the UFC.
“Floyd Mayweather’s one of the best strikers of all-time,” Woodley said. “How many guys in the UFC that can’t wrestle and can’t grapple that consider themselves a standup fighter, but they have to stand across one of the greatest strikers ever, they gonna be in a world of smoke.”
Dana White is the UFC Pres♊ident and he says that the promotion has negotiated with Mayweather, but nothing else further has been revealed.
