This will be the first boxing fight for Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield since 2011. The former heavyweight and cruiserweight champion was supposed to face Kevin McBride back in June, but the fight card was nixed when Teofimo Lopez tested positive for COVID-19. He then took the place of Oscar De La Hoya in this fight against Belfort. De La Hoya was supposed to headline, but also testing positive for COVID-19. Holyfield, well known for his rivalry with Mike Tyson, beat Brian Nels꧅on in his last fi🐬ght and is 2-1 with one no-contest in his last four fights.

Belfort, a former UFC and Cage Rage Light Heavyweight Champion, made his MMA debut in 1996. The 44-year-old last competed in the cage in 2018,ﷺ losing to Lyoto Machida. The only boxing fight he has been in was a win against Josemario Neves in 2006.

The co-main event will see Anderson Silva face off against Tito Ortiz. Silva, a former UFC Middleweight Champion, dominated MMA from 2006-2012. He has gone 1-7 with one no-contest in his last nine fights. No longer signed with the UFC, Silva fought in his third boxing fight this past September, beating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. via split decision.

Ortiz will be competing in his first boxing bout. The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is on a three-fight win streak in MMA, beating pro wrestling star Alberto El Patron via submission in 2019. He has since joi🌜ned and left the world of politics, resigning from a city council pꦇosition in Huntington Beach after only six months in office.

Jono Carroll def. Andy Vences via majority decision (95-95, 97-93, 97-93)

Both fighters were trading jabs to start the bout. Carroll went low and Vences went high. Both were trying to be calculating as they stared one another down to end the first. Carroll would go towards the body as the fight went on🅰. Jono was pushing Vences back, but the latter would come back with a few shots of his own. Overhand shots by Carroll continued to land, and he was chasing after Vences as the rounds continued. Carroll hit a nice jab, but Vences would land a solid body s📖hot to counter.

Carroll with combination shots in the fourth that got the crowd to roar with approval. Heܫ would then land shots to the face and egged Vences on. Vences would start to get comfortable and land body shots, but Carroll would respond back in full force. By round seven, both would trade blows, with Carroll sticking to the body and Vences sticking to shots to the face. Vences would then switch it up and land his own body shots. He would get creative with his blows in the eighth, acting as the true aggressor. He would then push Carroll into the corner and tee off on him. The doctor's checked on Carroll after round eight but he avoided a stoppage, found some adrenaline, and used it to his advantage. Vences would then land solid blows in the tenth to the face of Carroll. Both tried to outdo the other before the final bell.

David Haye def. Joe Fournier via unanimous decision (79-72, 80-71, 79-72)

Fournier was aggressive to start things off, as he pushed Haye against the ropes. Haye wanted to go low towards the body but Fournier would avoid a few shots with his defense. Fournier appeared to have ♉been dropped before the end of the bell. Haye would hit slick jabs to the face, snapping Fournier's neck back. Fournier tried to spice things up in the third and would try and hold onto Haye, but Haye was moving too fast. Haye with a few fast rights, with Fournier still managing to stay in this. Fournier would gain some momentum in the last few rounds but was unable to take Haye down.
