Ma꧅rlon Vera was in need of a new opponent at UFC 239 a🔴fter the withdrawal of Sean O’Malley and🐲 now he has one according to as Nohelin Hernandez has accepted the short notice opportunity.
Vera (13-5-1) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Wuliji Buren, Guido Cannetti and Frankie Saenz. Vera has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came by way of decision. Vera has won just one of two bouts on UFC pay-per-view cards, winning at UFC 227 and suffering a defeat at UFC 180.
Hernandez (9-2-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Hernandez has competed eleven times as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those bouts went the distance. Hernandez competed once under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Josh San Diego ও༒by unanimous decision at Bellator 199.
