Report: Dominick Cruz Replaces Jose Aldo, Faces Henry Cejudo In UFC 250 Main Event

The upcoming UFC 2🐈50 card has already been forced out of Brazil due to the coronavirus and now it has a new main event as well because former UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz will replace former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo and challenge Henry Cejudo for the UFC Bantamweight Title.

Cejudo (15-2-0) is making the first defense of his championship, which Cejudo💫 won by defeating Marlon Moraes ൲at UFC 238. Cejudo is also a former UFC Flyweight Champion, defeaꦫting Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227 to claim that title. Cejudo comes into the contest on the strength of a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over thꦕree years.

Cruz (22-2-0) is competing for the first time in over three years, with his last bout being a loss to Cody Garbrandt at UFC 206 in December of 🎀2016. Cruz hasn’t picked up a victory in almost four years, with that last win coming over Urijah Faber at UFC 199. Cruz has competed a total of six times in the UFC 🌌and five of those contests have been title fights.
