Current UFC Interim Featherweight Champion Max Holloway hasn’t competed since defeating former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis for the gold at UFC 206.
Holloway, who currently is sit🎉ting on the sidelines waiting for his next fight, will be appearing o🐓n a big screen near you as he has a role in the movie “Den Of Thieves.”
“I just got a deal, the movie name is Den of Thieves,” Holloway told . “The three main guys are 50 Cent, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Gerard Butler. Next week is my first shoot. I’ll be out there for 1 week, then in March to April, I will be gone for one month shooting for them. We’ll be in Atlanta,” he said. “This is my first acting job. I’m nervous. I’m excited. I’m a small little Hawaiian boy, and English isn’t really my strength, but I’m excited and can’t wait for the opportunity.”
Holloway has been petitioning for a fight with UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, who himself hasn’t competed since UFC 200. Holloway wi♎ll only be filming for around a month.
“I’ll be shooting for 1 month, and we’ll figure out (when the UFC return is),” he said. “First thing’s first, we have to find that guy first. Go back to #WheresJoseWaldo, and let your boy know if you find him. He took a long time to pop up, so I took this movie deal.”
