Perhaps the biggest freak show fig๊ht of all-time is in the books.
Heavyweight boxing grꦫeat Mike Tyson, at all of 58 years of age, took on mega-celebrity turned boxer Jake Paul. Paul has made a career of fighting MMA stars that were past their prime, and ended up in the ring with Mike Tyson for a fight that crossed into the mainstream in a huge way.

In the lead up to the fight, Netflix hosted a documentary series and there was a major media push to promote the bout, and it worked tenfold. At the weigh ins the day prior, Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul, who was not fazed at all. Supposꦐedly the slap was an answer from Jake Paul stepping on Mike Tyson's toe. The lead up also featured Jake Paul ridiculing a reporter who appropriately ♕asked if Jake Paul would ever compete against actual contenders.

As is turns out, the 58-year old Mike Tyson looked all of 58. We'd post highlights in this article, but the reality is there were none. Mike Tyson fell to 50-7, and participated in the largest age discrepancy in commissioned boxing history. Jake Paul improved to ten and something🐟 or other, and will likely challenge Glass Joe or King Hippo next. Both men had promised a knockout, but when one is 58 years old, and the other hasn't faced real competition in boxing, that's not easy to do with 14 ouce gloves.

By t♍he end of the unanimous decision victory for Jake Paul, the crowd booed both men. In what ended up being a sad, but lu꧅crative display for boxing, Jake Paul thanked truck drivers or something. Mike Tyson said maybe he'd fight WWE Superstar Logan Paul. We fought to stay awake.
Elsewhere, Netflix had streaming issues just two months prior to their WWE Raw debut. Also, Katie Taylor defeated Amanda Serrano in a fantastic, yet contr𝔍oversial fight. Taylor landed a headbutt that split open Serrano in the eighth round, a꧙nd had a point deducted. Taylor defeated Serrano by split decision in 2022.
