Dana White Hints That CM Punk’s UFC Run May Be Over, Punk Comments On Fight

Former pro wrestler turned professional MMA fighter CM Punk suffered a unanimous decision loss to Mike Jackson at UFC 225.

UFC President Dana White was in attendance at the event and he says Punk’s🐼 time in the promotion may be coming to an end.

“No, it should be a wrap,” White said at the UFC 225 post-fight press conference. “The guy’s 39 years old. We gave him two shots, and he had a lot of heart tonight, and I think he should call it a wrap.”

Punk is now 0-2-0 as a professional fighter, with his other loss coming via first round submission to Mickey Gall at UFC 203.

Just because Punk’s time in the UFC may be coming to a close doesn’t mean his professional MMA career has to because the fighter wou⛎ld be free to negotiate with any promotion of the Chicago native’s choosing.
