Although he didn’t compete at UFC Fight Night Gdansk, UFC Lightweight Champion C﷽onor McGregor got arguably the loudest reaction from fans when he appeared to watch ♎Artem Lobov fight Andre Fili.
While attempting to console the losing Lobov, the Irish star used a homop𓂃hobic slur to describe the victorious Fili.
“I thought you were going to sleep him,” McGregor told Lobov backstage. “All I’m saying, he’s a f-ggot. I never knew he was a f-ggot.”
A video popped up on Youtube showing the UFC Lig💧htweight Champion conso✤ling his friend and training partner:
This isn’t the UFC Lightweight Champion’s first foray into slurs, because he was accused of makingracists comments in the lead up to his fight with Floyd Mayweather this past August. McGregor’s father even spoke out about his son's apparent racism and he claimed his son wasn’t a racist person.⛄ His opponent Mayweather would use several sexual slurs as well, and later aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚpologized.
McGregor did address his racial comments during the media tour with Mayweather and he said “did they (the media) not know I’m half black, I’m half black from the belly button down.”
Neithꦫer McGregor or the UFC have commented on the slur used by the lightweight kingpin.
