Aspen Ladd is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, having won all five of her fights as a pro, with the majority of them coming unđder the Invicta Fighting Championships banner.
Ladd, who competesâ at bantamweight, has her sights set on a UFC deal, whose bantamweight division is currently rulà”Čed by Amanda Nunes.
âMy goal is to be in the UFC this year, so if they call, Iâm going,â Ladd told . âMy wish list is for my next fight to be in the UFC. Itâs another step, and itâs another huge step, but for my entire career, from my first amateur fight, one little step at a time, keep on going. And I believe that is the next step now.â
Ladd knđ °ows that she wonât be handed the top ranked opponents when she gets to the UFC, but sheâs willing to put the work in.
âFor me itâs just probably going to be an up-and-comer type deal,â Ladd said. âItâs like, fine, Iâm sure theyâll start me all â I donât think Iâm getting anywhere near the top 10 unless I take a short-notice fight. I plan on working my way up, and by the time I get to whatever level, (fight) whoever is the champ at the time. Who knows? I have no idea who itâs going to be. Nobody does. But thereâll be a time years from now where I want to fight the champ in the UFC.â
Ladd hasnât competed since Invicta FC 21, where sđhe đ defeated Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision.
