Alex Caceres will be kicking off the main card of UFC On Fox 23 tonight, where he will be taking on Jason Kn꧙ight in a featherweight division clash.
Caceres, 🍬🦋though, is refusing to do one major thing before the fight: talk trash.
“A lot of interviews, especially the mainstream media when they’re marketing the fight, they want you to talk crap about the person,” he said to . “They want to hear that egotistical confidence you have, the false machismo. And they try to bring it out of me, and it’s hard, because I have nothing personal against the person. It’s hard for make something personal against a person I don’t know.”
One of the biggest reasons that Caceres refuses to talk trash about his opponent is due to his lack of familiarity with his ﷽opponent.
“I’m pretty sure he’s well-renowned within the fight community,” Caceres said. “I just don’t watch it on TV. I don’t know anybody unless I met them in person.”
