Jim Ross Forecasts A Roman Heel Turn At Mania And A Year-Long Lesnar Title Run

Jim Ross wź¦ould like Brock LesnarĀ to win at Wrestlemania, and hold the title for a year. Ā

LesnarĀ will be facing Bill Goldberg at Wrestlemania 33 on April 2nd for the WWE Universal Championship. Goldberg won the title from Kevin Owens at WWE Fastlane and will have his first defense against Lesnar. In from Monday, Ross said not only should Lesnar win but he should hold onto the title for a year to build a big match at next year's Wrestlemania 34.Ā

"What would you think aboutĀ Brock Lesnar defending theĀ Universal Title against Roman ReignsĀ at WrestlemaniaĀ in NOLAĀ in 2018?Ā That seems to be the direction. I like it as it wouldĀ give Lesnar a one year runĀ as champ which also would necessitateĀ Lesnar working a few more dates on his last year ofĀ his current contract. Seems logical to me. Lesnar could defend the title monthly, if required, quiteĀ easilyĀ on anĀ enhanced albeit manageableĀ schedule," wroteĀ Ross.

Reigns will be facing at Wrestlemania 33 and Ross bešŸ„€lieves the match should carryź§‘ Reigns onto a big 2017.Ā

"Expect a ton of conjecture regarding the conclusion/finishĀ of the Reigns vs Taker bout atĀ WM Orlando. I still see a heel turn and Reigns wins via 'cheating' to at least to gain anĀ unfair advantage OR Taker wins and Roman thenĀ destroysĀ The Deadman afterwards and leaves Taker selling. Bottom line is that Reigns has to come outĀ of WrestlemaniaĀ with momentum as this match isĀ more about Roman evolving than anything else," wroteĀ Ross.Ā

On Monday's Raw, Reigns would attempt to call out The Undertaker but did not . The match at Wrestlemania 33 was made official soon after Reigns' call out. In the rest of his blog, Ross would discuss Ring of HonorĀ championship win and the estimated six hour length ofĀ Wrestlemania 33.Ā
